Bombay Natural History Society possesses taxidermically preserved specimens of birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians, and insects. These are stored in trays, jars, and boxes in cupboards, and brought out for exhibition only for the purposes of research, observation, and demonstration to scholars, enthusiasts, and groups of lay students. For people to visit the premises, prior written intimation and permission is required.
